Leadership Academy

Thank you for your interest in the Leadership Academy Program for 2026-2027

This program is offered by the Stanislaus County Office of Education for students enrolled in a Stanislaus County High School.
Please read the application instructions thoroughly to ensure you complete ALL of the steps for submitting your application.

Follow the Application Checklist below (items #1 through #7):

  • 1. Create an account and log in. Don't forget your user name and password!
  • 2. Complete the on-line application.
  • 3. Download and print the signature page and collect all required signatures.
  • 4. Write a Personal Essay
    Please write a description (essay form) telling us about yourself and why you are applying.  Also, please share what you hope you will gain from the program.  Use any word processing software, or a text editor - you will be able to upload your essay along with the other required documents. Please be aware that this essay is not confidential and may be shared with other agencies.
  • 5 - 7. Upload all required documents.
    • Completed signature page
    • Personal essay
    • Transcript or most recent report card showing a GPA of 2.0 or higher
    • Two letters of reference (One letter must be from a high school representative)
Please Note:
Applications may be disqualified if there are missing components or documents.

APPLICATION DEADLINE

Applications and all required documents (Signature Page, Essay, Transcript or most recent report card, and two Letters of Reference) must be submitted by 5:00 PM on Friday, April 3, 2026.  Applications may be disqualified if incomplete, and may not be submitted after 5:00 PM on Friday, April 3, 2026.

INTERVIEWS

If your application passes initial review, you will receive an email from Ricky Bispo with the date and time of your interview.  You must reply to the email to confirm your interview appointment.

You may not receive a second email or phone call reminding you of your interview.  Please make sure that you will be available at the date and time of your interview.

Leadership Academy interviews will take place during June of 2026, at the Stanislaus County Office of Education’s Tom Changnon Education Center at 1325 H Street in Modesto.
